By Southland Golf MagazinePublished: June, 2008

Since the United States Golf Association announced in 2002 that it had awarded the 2008 U.S. Open to Torrey Pines Golf Course, we’ve done our fair share of stories about the upcoming event. In the pages that follow, you’ll find just about everything you need to know about our nation’s most important championship — information geared to answer questions, provide context and hopefully whet your appetite for the week of June 9-15, when the best players in the world arrive in Southern California with major hopes and dreams.
