In Orange County’s high-end golf landscape, Anaheim Hills Golf Course stands out thanks to an array of classy amenities and a layout that’s fun and accessible to a range of golfers.

“There might be courses that are cheaper than us, but I think we are one of the best deals in terms of the quality we offer,” said Michael Lautenbach, golf manager for the City of Anaheim.

For 2010, the course has become an even better deal thanks to The Club at Anaheim Hills. For an annual membership fee of $225, members receive benefits such as discounted green fees, early twilight times, free birthday golf, and free golf for a junior family member during late twilight times.

“Whether you’re an avid or casual player at Anaheim Hills, this program makes a lot of sense and pays for itself very quickly,” Lautenbach said.

The layout, which remains in superb shape on the heels of hosting the Anaheim City Golf Championship last month, includes risk-reward holes, dramatic elevation changes and delightful views of northeastern Orange County. Golfers who haven’t played Anaheim Hills recently will notice the nines have been reversed in an experiment to expedite pace of play.

An opulent clubhouse complements the facility, with a restaurant, bar and spacious banquet facilities that are ideal both for daily-fee golfers looking to unwind and large groups looking to host a wedding, banquet or party.
