El Rancho Verde Golf Club in Rialto is embarking on a two-year renovation project that will include improvements on the course and throughout the clubhouse. In the short term, the course has been placed on a standardized maintenance program “which in and of itself improves the course immediately,” said Phil Vigil, director of golf operations for Pacific Golf Enterprises. Other properties managed by Pacific Golf Enterprises include Shorecliffs in San Clemente, California Oaks in Murrieta and The Cascades in Sylmar. “We see our courses as being the type of golf experience where someone can play a round of golf, get a beer, something to eat and still have plenty of change left over from a $100 bill,” Vigil said. “Our philosophy is fun, affordable, quality golf.” |
