On November 8, CrossCreek is hosting a Tournament Organizers golf event for those who have established events of at least 16 players at the course. Organizers also can bring one guest. Shotgun start is 9 a.m. and the event includes a buffet lunch. There is no fee to participate; however, space is limited to the first 36 groups registered. Tournament coordinators who contract new business for future dates will receive an incentive for booking the day of the golf outing. For more information, contact director of golf Tim Gardner.

Play Monday through Wednesday and Friday from dawn to 11 a.m. for $40; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $35; and after 2 p.m. for $25. Also, after 2 p.m., foursomes play for $80. Play all day, cart included, on Thursday for $30 through the end of September. Saturday, Sunday and holiday rates are $50 from dawn until 11 a.m.; $40 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; $30 after 2 p.m.; and foursomes play for $100 after 2 p.m. Lunch is included before 2 p.m. and bottled water is included after 2 p.m. Seniors receive $5 off all rates except Thursday and after 2 p.m. rates.

Sign up now for the annual foray to the Stateline for the annual Primm Golf Getaway hosted by General Old on August 15-17. The $135-per-person fee includes two rounds of golf, two-night stay (double occupancy) and Skins Game money. Also this summer are four-day Junior Camps August 9-12 and August 30-September 2. Open to players of all levels age 7 to 17, camps focus on all aspects of golf. A $100 fee includes a $50 voucher for green fees and range balls.

Learn all you need to know about the game of golf by signing up for Get Golf Ready lessons. The first five-class session is Thursdays August 6, 13, 20 and 27 and September 3; the second session is Sundays September 12, 19 and 26, October 3 and November 11. Cost is $99 per session. On, Friday, August 13, there will be a special nine-hole night of golf. Cost is $49 per player and includes green fee, cart, appetizers and drink specials. Shotgun start is 8 p.m. Green River also offers ladies-only clinics from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on August 21 and Sept. 18. Cost is $20.

Twosomes play either Saturday or Sunday for $59; fee includes breakfast or lunch. Fees are just $14 after 1 p.m. (cart included) Monday through Friday.
