The Men’s and Ladies golf clubs at Warner Springs Ranch are hosting an informal guest tournament on September 24-26. The event features a two-person better-ball format and kicks off with practice rounds and a registration event on Friday. The tournament follows on Saturday and Sunday, with a low-key dinner on Saturday (players are on their own for breakfast and lunch). The Fall Classic Crossings Club Member/Guest event, a fun yet competitive game of golf, will be held Sunday, September 19. Crossings Club memberships are still available and come with two complimentary rounds of golf just for signing up. On Thursday, September 23, The Crossings is hosting its California Wine Tasting, featuring pairings with delicious cuisine. Upcoming events also include the Pumpkin Golf Tournament on Sunday, October 24. This unique event allows golfers to play with an orange golf ball and have the chance to win an array of prizes.

After a busy season of summer activities, San Vicente is conducting its semi-annual maintenance. The 18-hole course will remain open during the aeration period, which runs from September 20 to October 1. Golfers can expect the best conditions of the year after that. The club will continue to offer boxed lunch specials through the end of the year — play for $43 during the week and $51 on weekends, with lunch and cart included. Also, take advantage of complimentary golf with San Vicente’s Frequent Player card. Sign up for the card, play nine rounds and get the 10th round free. For more information, contact the pro shop.

Play 18 holes at Colina Park for just $5.50 on half-price Mondays, which run through September 30. Regular weekday fees for 18 holes are $11 for adults, $8 for seniors and $7 for juniors. Weekend fees for 18 holes are $13 for adults, $13 for seniors and $7 for juniors. Colina Park also offers 10-play cards at $80 for adults, $60 for seniors and $50 for juniors. Attend the Short Game Academy and receive four hours of small group instruction by a PGA professional. Private lessons, corporate tournaments and team-building events also are available.
