Back to the 'draw'ing board

MacGregor is back in the game with the MACTEC NVG2 Draw Driver.

By Southland Golf MagazinePublished: July, 2007

MacGregor is back in the game with the MACTEC NVG2 Draw Driver. Almost every new driver has a face insert. Not the MACTEC. While inserts can limit the size of the sweet spot, this baby's face is almost all sweet.  The club also is set up to draw the ball, which helps the largest number of amateur golfers who slice. MacGregor also uses a wicked Fujikura Quadra Action shaft that helps another large portion of golfers with slower swing speeds get better distance and accuracy. Unfortunately, like most of the new designs, it has a weird sound when you hit it. But the benefits overshadow this.

The driver retails for $300. Check it out at macgregorgolf.com.
