BITE GOLF SHOES — You’ll eat these up
Mark Twain said golf is “a good walk spoiled.” Maybe his feet hurt. He should have been wearing Bite Golf Shoes, voted top in comfort and performance, according to the Darrel Survey. Bite’s product line, which started with a golf sandal, includes the GT Traveler, a spikeless golf shoe that can be worn on or off the course. Imagine packing only one pair of shoes the next time you hit the road. Bite’s golf shoe design is based on the company’s popular hiking boots, created for people who walk on rough terrain each day. Bite sandals and golf shoes sell for $80-$130. Check them out at Roger Dunn Golf Shops or visit www.biteshoes.com.

THE RIGHT TOUCH — Get on the right swing path
Taking the right path is often the way to success. Teaching the correct swing path, however, can be a difficult process. The Right Touch is a training aid that attaches to your belt or waistband and promotes good posture and the correct feel of the swing path. Try wearing it on the driving range. When your hips are in correct position at address, the rubber 5-inch probe on The Right Touch points down. At takeaway, if your arms cross the probe you are not on the proper swing plane. However, to get into the slot on the downswing, your right forearm should cross the probe to be on the correct inside path. The Right Touch sells for $50. CERTAINTEE Take your game to new heights
Consistent tee height improves the consistency of your ball striking. CertainTee has three height-setting stops built into its design. The first stop is the optimal height for large-headed drivers. The two additional stops allow you to consistently tee your ball to lower heights, perhaps for 3- or 5-wood shots. The rib design allows golfers to override stops for a custom height. CertainTee is made from an impact- resistant polymer that is recyclable and tough enough to easily outlast wooden tees. Pick up a five-pack at Roger Dunn Golf Shops for about $5.

3M GREPTILE GRIPS Get a handle on your game
Is your golf game slipping away? Get your hands on some 3M Greptile Grips, a material that creates a precise bond with minimal effort. Using micro-replication technology, each grip has an average of 3,000 grip-studs per square inch that act as a sea of gripping fingers. Greptile’s best feature is its ability to stay dry. A recent university study concluded that Greptile had three times more friction when wet compared to a standard leather glove. 3M Greptile Grips are $5 apiece.
