One of the best places to check out all of the new gear and gadgets for the upcoming year is golf shows, and the L.A. Golf Show is one of the best and brightest. With tons of vendors, loads of activities, an endless supply of products to demo, and the newest products on the market, you’ll have your hands full February 24-26.
With golf products turning over so rapidly, it’s nice to see what’s on the horizon and to know you’re not buying equipment that will soon be obsolete. In addition to the many exhibit booths there will be scattered activities all around the show.
Roger Dunn will be there with an 8,000-square-foot clearance shop offering low prices on name-brand clubs. If new products are what you’re looking for, their demo line will include: Adams, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, PING, Srixon, TaylorMade, Titleist and Tour Edge.
Experts from the University of California Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center will be at the show all weekend to provide tips on how to care for your body over the course of the year. Also, one of the main attractions will be the ESPN Los Angeles Main Stage, where free seminars of golf instruction and fitness will be shown throughout the weekend.
Another popular activity over the years at the show has been the Ford Putting Championship. Every attendee who sinks a putt is entered into the championship finals held on the final day of the show. The winner can choose from two prize packages: Kraft Nabisco Championship prize - two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn-Rancho Mirage, golf for two people at Westin Mission Hill’s golf course and two seats at the Kraft Nabisco Championships at an 18th green suite including food, beverage and on-site parking (April 2-3) or a Stay and Play package in Las Vegas (4-night stay and 4 rounds of golf for two).
With lessons, prizes and new equipment filling up the Anaheim Convention Center this month, you’d be crazy to miss out on this amazing show!
