Alta Vista Country club in northern Orange County is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Widely known as “the best valued” private course in Orange County, AVCC is very affordable requiring only a $7,500 initiation fee and $319 monthly for an unlimited full single membership. The club has recently undergone $5 million in capital improvements. The par-72 championship 6,500- yard golf course is consistently in great shape; has fantastic character featuring plenty of dog legs, water hazards and more than 90 bunkers, and has six sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. Located along Pacific Coast Highway in scenic Newport Beach. The narrow kikuya fairways are lined with bold stands of aged pine trees. The challenging bent and poa annua grass greens create a small target for approach shots and putts often break deceptively toward the Pacific Ocean. Originally designed by William Bell in 1952. The Newport Beach CC is a private club and is home to the Toshiba Classic on the Senior PGA Tour.
