Montebello Country Club offers some of the best golf at a city-owned, 18-hole championship course in Southern California. Rates are $16 to $32, depending on day and time. Residents of Montebello and senior citizens may purchase Discount Golf Cards from the Finance counter at City Hall. The cards are $19 a year, valid through Dec. 31, 2012, and will be pro-rated on a monthly basis if purchased during the year. If you’re looking to improve your game, golf lessons for the beginner to advanced golfer are available at the club.
