SAVICE CHARITY TOURNAMENT SET FOR TIJERAS CREEK Savice, an organization dedicated to funding education for underprivileged Vietnamese children, will hold its Charity Golf Classic on June 21 at Tijeras Creek Golf Club (pictured) in Rancho Santa Margarita. The day includes a raffle for golf equipment and free rounds, as well as on-course contests. Lunch and registration begin at noon, followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. A reception and dinner follows at 6 p.m. Non-golfers and volunteers are welcome, and can support Savice by attending dinner and helping at the event. Sponsorships also are available. BLACK GOLD OFFERING SUMMER PROMOTIONS Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda has two “Beat the Heat” promotions this summer: • The course guarantees that golfers will finish within five hours of their scheduled tee times. If not, Black Gold will extend the next round at half of the club’s standard fees. • The cost of the first drink in the club’s bar after a round will be based on the golfer’s score that day. Black Gold also will host a Father’s Day barbecue and Family Fun Zone on Sunday, June 17, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The cost is $28.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages 6-12.
