![]() Glenn: As you’re over the ball, you take the club back about waist high and look at it. Why? Mike: That’s a rehearsal as to what I want to do. If I can duplicate that on my swing, it makes things easier. Glenn: So even as you play tournament golf, you’re working on the feel of that moment? Mike: Exactly. It looks mechanical but I get confidence from working on the precision of that moment. Glenn: Do you want to match the angle of your backswing through to the finish? Mike: Yes. I want my backswing, downswing and follow-through to duplicate the same swing plane. Glenn: Do you work a lot to keeping your head still? Mike: Yes. By keeping my head in a steady position, this allows my arms to out-race my body, which is what I want.
