![]() Starting out small with your golf swing and working your way up is the best way to learn. We all want to get better, but it takes time. Rid yourself of the swing thoughts you’ve picked up and focus on experiencing repeated success. Learn to be more quiet and diligent. Don’t hit and hope. For example, get out a wedge or an 8-iron and get good at making solid contact. Hit a bucket of half-shots (illustrated below) and make each swing successful. Be balanced at the finish without panic or fear. Repeat that over several days, and shoot for 100 solid and comfortable half-shots in a row. You’ll soon be ready for bigger and better things.
