The inside story: Eagle’s Nest restaurant, three banquet rooms, dining room with four flat-screen TVs, patio dining, bar with two flat-screen TVs, a lounge, men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers, private VIP banquet room.

Most dynamic feature: Conference rooms are equipped with audio/visual equipment in the latest technology, including video teleconferencing and surround sound.

Wow factor: The vast, open floor plan is punctuated by fireplaces in the lobby and dining room, in addition to murals painted by a local artist.

In their words: “The clubhouse has expanded the capabilities of the golf course, which was built in the 1960s,” PGA General Manager Mike Clary said. “It’s taking us down the path to becoming a military resort destination.”
