The 2010 Irvine City Championship will be held at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine on July 10 and 11.

The 36-hole stroke play event is open to players with a current SCGA handicap. The $225 registration fee includes range balls each day, tee prize for all competitors, lunch and prizes on Sunday. When players register before July 1 they will receive a free practice round.

Last year, Raymond Ho (Cerritos), a member of the golf team at Long Beach State, set a new course record after shooting an opening round of 65 and leading at 6-under-par after the first day.

Strawberry Farms, developed by former Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim third baseman Doug DeCinces, is a par-71, 6,700-yard course that is set across a 35-acre reservoir.
