Brad Larsen of Oceanside won the 2010 SCGA Senior Amateur Championship held at Santa Ana Country Club on June 9 and 10. Larsen, whose last title was at the 1995 SCGA Mid-Amateur Championship, shot a 2-over-par 146 to take the title over 2009 champion Howie Knodt (Chula Vista), USGA Senior and British Senior champion Kemp Richardson (Laguna Niguel) and three-time SCGA Super Senior champion Robert Carver (Fullerton), who all came in at 149. This win gives Larsen an exemption at the 2010 California Senior Amateur Championship and the 2011 SCGA Mid-Amateur, SCGA Senior and SCGA Amateur championships.
