Tom Lehman, playing in the final group alongside champion Fred Couples, ended up with a tie for third. It was his third top-five finish in as many starts on the Champions Tour this season (PHOTO: Eddie Meeks).

After making his 10th birdie of the day on the par-5 18th hole, Tom Watson basks in the moment (EM).

Part-time Corona del Mar resident John Cook hits out of the greenside bunker on the par-3 17th hole. The 52-year-old finished tied for seventh, his best showing in three Toshiba Classic appearances (PHOTO: Mark Susson).

Ben Crenshaw was one of the straightest drivers at the Toshiba Classic, tying for sixth in percentage of fairways hit (EM).

Seventy-year-old Lee Trevino may have struggled with a 77 in the final round, but the "Merry Mex" still entertained galleries with his charm and showmanship (EM).

Bernhard Langer, the 2008 Toshiba Classic champion, played with San Diegan Craig Stadler in the final round. They both finished well, as Langer shot a 65 to tie for 17th while Stadler posted 68 to conclude in a share of 30th place (MS).

After tying for second at last year's Toshiba Classic, Joey Sindelar failed to find a groove this year and finished tied for 49th (EM).

Olin Browne intently watches a shot during the final round. The former Occidental College men's golf team member shot a closing 67 to tie for 14th (EM).

A player who made the most of his start at the Toshiba Classic was Taiwan native Chien Soon Lu. After gaining entry to the event by virtue of a top-10 finish at the Allianz Championship two weeks ago, Lu recorded another top-10 finish — a tie for third — to qualify for the Cap Cana Championship later this month (EM).

Defending champion Eduardo Romero tied for 17th in his return to Newport Beach Country Club (EM).

Ventura native Corey Pavin fired a closing 67 to tie for seventh at 9-under par, recording his first top-10 finish on the Champions Tour (EM).

Ever the entertainer, Fuzzy Zoeller broke par Sunday with a 70 (EM).
