Indio’s Fantasy Springs Resort Casino put the sizzle into the start of summer with the 2010 Ultimate Fantasy Weekend. For two days last weekend, models, professional athletes and guests visited the resort for exciting parties, a bikini pageant and competition, the National Bikini Pillow Fighting Championships and a full golf tournament at Eagle Falls Golf Course. Event winners included Fullerton’s Tonya Torres who took home first place in the bikini contest, and Jazmin Siguenza, who fought her way to the top spot in the National Bikini Pillow Fighting Championships. Each lady won $1,500. Weekend festivities kicked off Friday at the Fantasy Springs pool deck. The bikini pageant and competition were followed by the National Bikini Pillow Fighting Championships. For this, two bikini-clad models stood on a floating raft facing each other in the Fantasy Springs pool. Armed with oversized pillows, competitors tried to knock one another other off the raft. The winners of the bikini contest and the Pillow Fighting Championships were crowned Saturday evening during the awards party. Thirty models who have graced the pages of national magazines as well as Playboy Playmates Shallan Meiers, Stacy Fuson and Allison Waite), were on hand for the weekend’s events. San Diego Chargers linebackers Shaun Phillips, Stephen Cooper and Larry English also were on hand. The events were emceed by Sirius radio host Scott Ferrall. The Ultimate Fantasy Weekend is put on annually by Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in conjunction with PlayerXT and Wet Peach Swimwear.
