| On January 11, the game lost a great ambassador. Mike Lawson touched the lives of so many people in the golf business. He served as a career consultant to PGA professionals, lending his business acumen and experience to anyone who would listen. He was a success in business and even more successful as a family man and friend. At the age of 61, the Yorba Linda resident lost his fight with cancer, but anyone who spent time with him is richer for having known him. I’m sure that flat little swing that could fit under a low-hanging tree branch and clutch putting stroke is already earning him new friends in heaven. | ||||
