 Beauty, and a beast: The par-4 fourth hole is one of the hardest holes on the South course but also provides one of the most majestic views of any PGA Tour venue.  Another coastal gem, the par-4 seventh on the North course features a fairway that moves uphill before darting to the right.  A truly unique early-morning view — the fading moon juxtaposed with the Rolex clocktower. Two towers were installed when Torrey Pines hosted the 2008 U.S. Open.  Farmers Insurance signed on as the title sponsor of the event less than two weeks, and the new tournament logo was interwoven throughout the property.
