San Diego’s Sibo Yan won the boys 11-13 division at the Future Collegians World Tour’s Feather Sound Open at Feather Sound County Club in Clearwater, Fla., last weekend. Yan, 13, carded a total of seven birdies over 36 holes en route to a score of 152 and a six-stroke victory. This is Yan’s second win for the 2009-10 season. His first win was at the FCWT Woods Valley Championship at Woods Valley Golf Club in Valley Center in November of 2009. Yan competed in the boys 13-15 division and clinched the win with a 2-under-par 142. Last season, Yan had five top-5 finishes, three of which were second-place showings. This season started rough for Yan with only one top-10 finish, but things may be looking up for the rest of his season.
