The Soboba Golf Classic, a Nationwide Tour event at the Country Club at Soboba Springs in San Jacinto, has announced two new promotions for 2010. First, there’s College Day — not only can college students attend the Soboba Golf Classic free of charge for the entire week (must have valid college ID), if a tournament player makes a hole-in-one on the par-3 15th hole in Saturday’s third round, one student in attendance will win a car, cash, or a college scholarship. Second, an area known as Kidz Korner, located between the first and ninth fairways, will provide games and other fun activities for youngsters all week. There also will be on-site instruction by the Southern California PGA. The Soboba Golf Classic will be held September 27–October 3. Visit sobobaclassic.net. |
