Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes opened to the public on Friday, June 12. The resort took 10 years and $480 million to create. A featured destination of the resort will be The Links at Terranea, a challenging nine-hole, par-3 golf course which is scheduled to open on July 15. Designed by Todd Eckenrode of Origins Golf Design, the Links is a walking course. From the tips, the course plays approximately 1,239 yards. Rates start at $30 for adults over 18, $20 for kids ages 13-18 and $10 for kids aged 12 and under (w/ adult). Guests of the resort can pay $195 per week for unlimited golf for up to seven days.
