PGA Tour star Dustin Johnson, fresh from a victory in the St. Jude Classic, was on hand for an historic night at AT&T park in San Francisco on June 13.
Johnson, in town for the U.S. Open, threw out the ceremonial first pitch and then watched as Giants pitcher Matt Cain threw a perfect game, the first in the team’s history.
Earlier Johnson and Cain entertained fans by launching golf balls from home plate more than 300 yards into historic McCovey Cove.
Johnson is in the TaylorMade Golf Co. stable of tour players.
