Born: May 28, 1938, in Chelyan, West Virginia.

Vitals: Accomplished basketball player and executive for the Lakers; two-time All-American at West Virginia University; gold medal winner at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome; member of the NBA’s 50th anniversary all-time team.

Nicknames: Mr. Clutch (for his scoring ability in pressure situations); Zeke from Cabin Creek (for the creek near his birthplace); and The Logo (his dribble is silhouetted in the NBA logo).
