![]() 1981 and spent most of his professional career as a running back for the Oak-land/Los Angeles Raiders, with whom he won the Super Bowl in 1984. How did you get started in golf? Growing up I was exposed to it but I quit. It was like when I took piano lessons and I quit. I regretted it. I started again in my mid-20s. That's when I really fell in love with it. What is your handicap? 8. How often do you play? I try to play a couple of times a week. What is your best round? A 77 at Rancho San Marcos. What is your most memorable moment on the golf course? It would be at Edgewood in Lake Tahoe. I birdied 16, 17 and 18 during the celebrity tournament there. What is your most embarrassing moment on a golf course? Shanking a ball in front of a crowd at a tournament. What courses haven't you played that you want to? I am trying to play all the Top 100 courses. I haven't played Pine Valley or Bandon Dunes. If you could change one thing about your game, what would it be? Patience. I get fast and lose my rhythm. What is your favorite golf club in the bag? My 2-iron. I'll bet no one has ever said that before. SG |
