 Beau Hossler The 15-year-old Rancho Santa Margarita resident (top left) garnered his first American Junior Golf Association victory at last month’s Trader Joe’s Junior Championship hosted by Pat Hurst. Hossler registered rounds of 67-66-69 (8-under-par total) at Castlewood Country Club’s Hill Course in Pleasanton, Calif., to win by one stroke over Shotaro Ban. Hossler also triumphed at a Toyota Tour Cup Series event in San Clemente in March and the San Diego Junior Amateur Championship in January. Lilia Vu The 12-year-old Fountain Valley resident (top right) won the girls 11-12 division at last month’s Junior World Golf Championships, her third title in the prestigious San Diego event. Vu compiled a 9-under-par total after 54 holes at the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo, and her nine-stroke margin of victory was the largest of any of the 12 divisions in this year’s Junior World competition. In June, Vu finished third at the AJGA’s PING Phoenix Junior at Moon Valley Country Club in Phoenix, Ariz.
