 Addis was president of The PGA of America in 1995-96 and has served in a variety of other capacities in the past 25 years on the national and local levels. He also has received several awards, including the PGA’s Golf Professional of the Year in 1989. In September, he was inducted into the PGA Club Professional Hall of Fame. “With the hiring of Tom Addis, the Southern California PGA Section has brought in one of the most respected and highly decorated professionals in our entire association,” said SCPGA president Scott Stubbs. “Tom is a proven leader and his track record is second to none. We are extremely fortunate to have his wisdom and leadership at our disposal. I feel that the future of the SCPGA is brighter than ever.” |
