Proudly sporting the nickname “American Riviera,” the Santa Barbara area is known for sun-drenched beaches and a trendy vibe.

The area also has no shortage of great golf options, two of which are Sandpiper and Rancho San Marcos. While Sandpiper is a renowned coastal track, Rancho San Marcos offers players a peaceful setting in the Santa Ynez River Valley.

Planning a golf getaway to one or both of these courses is easy — simply call either facility and a trip advisor will customize a plan based on your budget and desired length of stay.

For those seeking the ultimate in luxury, Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara is offering a Spa, Golf or Tennis Package.

A regular on the Robb Report’s “World’s 100 Ultimate Escapes” since 2006, the coastal property features a 10,000-square-foot spa and the newly renovated Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club. The club, open only to members and resort guests, has an Olympic-size swimming pool, beach access and the Tydes restaurant, offering innovative Mediterranean fare.

Rates for the package begin at $795, based on double occupancy. Choose one of the following activities per day (guests may both enjoy the same activity or choose two different activities): a round at Sandpiper or Rancho San Marcos, a 50-minute spa treatment or a 90-minute tennis lesson with a pro.
