Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Club has garnered much praise since opening a year ago.
Managed by KemperSports, Ridge Creek was recognized as runner-up for best new golf course development in the United States by Golf Inc. Magazine. The layout, crafted by John Fought, is built in a heathland style with majestic, flat terrain and devilish bunkers. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 15th because, at 653 yards, it’s one of the longest in the state and aptly named “Tragedy.”
The course, which is just south of Fresno in Dinuba, is offering stay-and-play packages in conjunction with a nearby Holiday Inn Express that opened in January. Weekday options for an individual start at $99 — which includes golf, cart, accommodations and lunch — with couples packages starting at $149. The course also is offering a special senior rate on Tuesdays, with golfers 62 and older able to play for $35 if they start before 11 a.m.
