A Great Jacket

The Eisenhower from Adidas is both functional and fashionable.

One of the beauties of living in the Southland is the weather conditions. When it’s cold, it’s really not that cold. Which means we can hit the links- barring any torrential downpours like we witnessed last month- just about any day, any time. The right jacket, most will agree, is not overstuffed and restrictive; but rather a subtle enhancement to tee-time attire. For men, this is especially true.

Adidas introduced the Eisenhower jacket last season, meeting this need and leaving golfers clamoring for more.

“It’s a nice jacket to wear out to dinner; it’s very versatile,” said Erika Edwards, buyer for Roger Dunn Golf Shops, who saw the jacket fly off the racks last fall. “The Eisenhower by far sold the most of all the jackets we carry.”

And it’s easy to see why.

The Eisenhower, especially in its new cocoa color (pictured above), is extremely lightweight. It’s an everyday jacket with more to offer. What’s best about the Eisenhower is that it’s water resistant, thanks to its Teflon finish, and it looks great — on and off the course.
