![]() The first of Zoeller’s three shots was the only one to hit the green, but it was good enough to best competitors Gary McCord, David Feherty and Mark Lye in the three-shot competition and it was enough to earn a $2,000 donation from the Marriott Corporation to Fuzzy’s Kids, Zoeller’s designated charity. For Zoeller, he had the dual advantage of going last and catching a favorable wind for his knockdown sand wedge. But even with those cards in his favor, Zoeller said the experience of hitting over the edge of a 16-story building is one he won’t soon forget. “It’s a different feeling for what it does to your insides up there,” he said about the shot. “When you follow through, you don’t dare go to your left side. You want to swing back to your right side because that’s where the ground is back there behind us. It was a neat little feeling.” |
