STROKE OF THE DAY |

Back in the day, when Elvis Presley would finish his performance, it was announced that Elvis had left the building! The show was over and everyone went home. If you didn’t get enough, you could always buy a ticket for another concert. The same rule should apply for Tiger Woods. Tiger’s performance ends when he holes out on the 18th hole. Then I say leave the man alone. It seems to me the media feels they must continue to badger Tiger, to hound him with the same inane questions after his round has been completed. When the work of an artist is presented, is he questioned as to what he was thinking or why he made a specific stroke of his brush? No. Tiger is constantly teaching us something about life, when he hits his drive in what appears to be an impossible place, he sees the opportunity to excel. To Tiger it’s all about opportunity to succeed and I find that very refreshing. So when his round is over and we have witnessed Tiger time after time showing the tenacity to keep fighting, just let him be. I think if the media would just leave him alone after he finishes playing, Tiger would play in more tournaments and we would be exposed to his greatness more often.
